Hi, I’m Stacey Klein, LCSW and I’ve been practicing psychotherapy for over 24 years. I help adolescents, individuals and couples with a wide variety of issues including relationship struggles, depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD, self esteem, developmental trauma, as well as spiritual and existential conflicts.
Life is full of twists and turns that can be challenging. I help people find greater ease and fluidity so they can navigate these challenges. As we develop our own unique and safe working relationship together, the constrictions you enter therapy with can soften and more options can open up for you. Good therapy helps you free up your energy and be more true to your own heart. I’ve learned from my own struggles that when we feel emotionally supported, we can meet our pain more tenderly and emerge feeling more whole and more connected to our present moment experience.
I draw from a wide variety of approaches including psychodynamic, gestalt, somatic experiencing, attachment theory, CBT, mindfulness, Buddhist psychology and Jungian psychology. In short, I would say my way of working is very down to earth, relational and experiential. I also work somatically (with the body) because the body is rich with wisdom. Learning to include and listen to its messages enhances your ability to trust and manage your feelings more skillfully.
I look forward to meeting you.
